Proverbs 16:4 The LORD works out everything for his own ends - even the wicked for a day of disaster. This is simply the truth. Everything and everyone is created for a divine purpose.
We are all created with a divine purpose. The Lord said so Himself.
It took me quite a few years to accept this and to truly understand this verse. When we lost Sabrina just short of her second birthday back in 2015, the anger tore my heart out of its soul. I felt like I had lost my heart forever. How could Jesus take back something we had worked so hard for? I didn't understand. They say that time heals, but honestly, it wasn't time. It was our relentless pursuit to understand what our purpose is on this earth. I always say that I am trying to find my purpose, or maybe I am just growing and learning my purpose. I need to learn and do the work from within. We attended many local support groups, received therapy from an amazing faith-driven therapist, underwent EMDR therapy, and attended church weekly. We just wanted to find our purpose.
Having gone through four miscarriages, undergone in vitro fertilization, having only one successful embryo, becoming parents for a short two years, losing our daughter, and then having to go through IVF once again to bring our amazing daughter Anna Sofia into this world—I felt, my goodness, Papa Dios, why is my life going through so many transitions in one lifetime to bring life into this world? I had been working in marketing and advertising since 2004, and when I was let go during the pandemic, I finally felt relief. I thought, 'Okay, this is my time to become more present in my daughter's life.' This is where my journey as an entrepreneur began.
The therapy I found in being in my space, creating pieces from beginning to end, gave me so much fulfillment. I started sharing on social media how connected I felt to creating certain pieces, and so many others felt engaged with it. It truly motivated me to keep working hard and to keep creating. It started connecting me to women who may be going through something similar. I provided insight, courage, motivation, and hope, letting them know that they are strong. Finally, here I am, accepting that while creating jewelry has been rewarding, truly being able to connect with you is where my heart is full. That is why I started my workshops—a place to pause, connect, and have open conversations. A space where we can uplift each other, no matter what phase of life you're in. I am here to tell you that you are here for a purpose. You are here to speak about your experiences. You are here to support each other's purpose. God is here to guide us and let us know that we are here to do good for others. Be there for others. Support each other on this earth until we are reunited with our loved ones again. I know Sabrina is watching down on us and is so proud of her parents and sister.
Our new collection will be available online Friday, March 1, 2024, at 9 am. I hope it brings you comfort and reminds you that you are created with a purpose."
